Are You Allowed to Murder?

No. Of course not.

But how do you know that Biblically?

Well, it's part of the Ten Commandments right?

  1. No other gods
  2. No idols
  3. No blasphemy
  4. Keep the Sabbath (Friday sunset to Saturday sunset)
  5. Honour your father and mother
  6. No murder
  7. No adultery
  8. No stealing
  9. No lying
  10. No coveting

God doesn't change, and nor do His commandments, e.g. all of these commandments are still valid today.

For I am the LORD, I change not.

If we break any commandment we are guilty of breaking it all.

For whosoever shall keep the whole law, and yet offend in one point, he is guilty of all.

So why are we not keeping the Sabbath commandment? Why is that commandment so different?

The answer is that it's not. We ought to keep the Sabbath even today.
