And the great dragon was cast out, that old serpent, called the Devil, and Satan, which deceiveth the whole world: he was cast out into the earth, and his angels were cast out with him.
- Revelation 12:9 (KJV)
The whole world!
Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.
- John 14:6 (KJV)
You've got to have a real "love for the Truth" to see clearly. You can pray for the Holy Spirit (Spirit of Truth) to help you with this.
Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it.
- Matthew 7:14 (KJV)
Here are some examples of how far the lies go.
You might think your Bible is safe right? Especially something like say the Ten Commandments.
Consider this from the NIV:
You shall not make for yourself an image in the form of anything in heaven above or on the earth beneath or in the waters below. You shall not bow down to them or worship them; for I, the Lord your God, am a jealous God, punishing the children for the sin of the parents to the third and fourth generation of those who hate me, but showing love to a thousand generations of those who love me and keep my commandments.
- Exodus 20:4 (NIV, KJV)
Note that it says "punishing".
Now consider this.
The soul that sinneth, it shall die. The son shall not bear the iniquity of the father, neither shall the father bear the iniquity of the son: the righteousness of the righteous shall be upon him, and the wickedness of the wicked shall be upon him.
- Ezekiel 18:20 (KJV)
So that's weird. It's clearly contradicting the second Commandment at first sight.
But there are no contradictions in the Bible, so let's look at the second Commandment again, but now in the King James version.
Thou shalt not make unto thee any graven image, or any likeness of any thing that is in heaven above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the water under the earth. Thou shalt not bow down thyself to them, nor serve them: for I the Lord thy God am a jealous God, visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children unto the third and fourth generation of them that hate me.
- Exodus 20:4 (KJV)
Okay, so now it says "visiting", which makes sense. God will visit the children of those that sin, to make sure the sin hasn't returned again.
And that's in the Ten Commandments!!
So please be careful what Bible you use, e.g. stick with a King James version, or buy one of those side-by-side Bibles if you can't stand the old English. It's well worth it.
And without controversy great is the mystery of godliness: God was manifest in the flesh, justified in the Spirit, seen of angels, preached unto the Gentiles, believed on in the world, received up into glory.
- 1 Timothy 3:16 (KJV)
That should read "God was manifest in the flesh". Any Bible that does not testify to that is that of the "antichrist".
(It doesn't count when it says "appeared in the flesh", or "appeared in a body")
Lots of editing has been done over the years, so please be aware.
Evolution is just a theory.
And God said, Let the earth bring forth the living creature after his kind, cattle, and creeping thing, and beast of the earth after his kind: and it was so.
- Genesis 1:24 (KJV)
A dog has never brought forth a cat, and so on. No missing links have ever been found. No diversity (from evolution) is present today. Nothing.
And God saw every thing that he had made, and, behold, it was very good. And the evening and the morning were the sixth day.
- Genesis 1:31 (KJV)
If you're trying to fit evolution into the six days, please remember that God would have never said "it was very good" when He was standing on piles and piles of bones. Also, remember that certain insects and plants were already "working together", e.g. pollination, etc.
A good question for evolutionists is "where are the bones?". Over 100 million years, even with only a fraction of the current population/animal growth rate, this place should be absolutely swamped with bones, but yet there are none. In fact, applying the current population growth numbers in reverse, suggests that the start of humanity was around the time of Noah.
The world is not so bad
From what you can see, you're probably right, but what happens in the shadows is just disgusting...
"Wir haben es nicht gewussen" ("we didn't know") the Germans said.
And that's what's going on today.
History repeating itself...
For then shall be great tribulation, such as was not since the beginning of the world to this time, no, nor ever shall be. And except those days should be shortened, there should no flesh be saved: but for the elect's sake those days shall be shortened.
- Matthew 24:21 (KJV)
I can go on, but I think it's best at this point that you ask God to show you Himself.
God answers prayers.
