Preservation of the Bible

Some people question whether the Bible is actually still God's Word.

And indeed, how do we know that the Bible is what God wants us to see?

It is God Himself that promises to preserve His Words.

The words of the Lord are pure words: as silver tried in a furnace of earth, purified seven times. Thou shalt keep them, O Lord, thou shalt preserve them from this generation for ever.
- Psalms 12:6-7 (KJV)

The reason God preserves His Word, is so that we can use it for doctrine, reproof, correction, and instruction.

All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness.
- 2 Timothy 3:16 (KJV)

God's Words will never pass away.

Heaven and earth shall pass away, but my words shall not pass away.
- Matthew 24:35 (KJV)

Even today there are over 5,300 manuscripts (including the Dead Sea scrolls) that confirm the authencity of the King James Bible.

It is estimated that the King James Bible is 98.33% pure. (Yes there are typos, but no major doctrine issues)

You can rest assured that the King James Bible is accurate.
