Faith Without Works is Dead

Salvation is grace by faith in Jesus.

For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast.
- Ephesians 2:8-9 (KJV)

We are not saved by works (obedience) alone. However we are still required to keep the Law (Ten Commandments).

Do we then make void the law through faith? God forbid: yea, we establish the law.
- Romans 3:31 (KJV)

Faith alone is not enough.

What doth it profit, my brethren, though a man say he hath faith, and have not works? can faith save him?
- James 2:14 (KJV)

In fact, faith without works is dead.

Even so faith, if it hath not works, is dead, being alone.
- James 2:17 (KJV)

And again.

For as the body without the spirit is dead, so faith without works is dead also.
- James 2:26 (KJV)

Should we continue to sin in grace?

What shall we say then? Shall we continue in sin, that grace may abound? God forbid. How shall we, that are dead to sin, live any longer therein?
- Romans 6:1-2 (KJV)

Obedience to God's Laws is a requirement for eternal life.

Repent today.
