Commitment
When we read the Bible, God reveals Himself through it.
We learn for example, that God never lies, and keeps His promises.
Consider the following promise:
For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.
- John 3:16 (KJV)
That's a promise of eternity.
That means that God, who sustains the Universe, will never let go of us.
What an amazing promise.
